Sag Harbor has a thriving educational system that dates back to 1788, and offers the entire community many academic and social activities. The Sag Harbor public schools serve over 600 students and employ 85 staff members. The Sag Harbor Elementary School was the first school on eastern Long Island to offer a full-day kindergarten program. An after school education program is also available for students who would otherwise be left alone at home after school. Sag Harbor Elementary was recently selected as a New York State School of Excellence!

The Pierson Junior-Senior High School offer a solid fundamental curriculum, vocational opportunities, and extracurricular activities. In addition to the academic requirements, graduates are also expected to complete an approved service project.

The are many Continuing Education Programs available in the Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Bridgehampton, and Southampton areas.  These programs provide wonderful opportunities for educational, technological, artistic, athletic, and cultural enrichment, and are very well attended.  Classes are typically held at our area Public High Schools or Colleges, or at the Ross School in East Hampton.
