Sag Harbor does not have permit or paid parking. However there are time restrictions within the business district and other restriction
on residential streets such as no overnight parking.
All areas are clearly marked regarding restrictions.
During the extended
summer season (May through October) Traffic Control Officers patrol the business district monitoring time limits and issuing summons
for parking violations. Most areas in the business district have a 2 hour time limit for parking while the Long Wharf allows for 3
hours. The lots at Spring Street, Washington Street and Cross Street do not have a limit. Please, always take note of signs when parking
or ask a Traffic Control Officer should you have questions.
Please respect the private parking lots owned by businesses for use by their customers, employees and apartment tenants. These private lots do not become public parking areas if the business is not opened.
If you have questions regarding parking on a particular street or overnight parking please contact the Sag Harbor Village Hall at 631-725-0222.
