Loyalty Day, is a special day for the reaffirmation of loyalty to the United States and for the recognition of the heritage of American freedom.

National Join Hands Day is a day to make a difference in your community through helpful projects that connect youths and adults as well as to develop relationships with local volunteer organizations.

Memorial Day
Parade and Remembrance Ceremonies.  Sag Harbor Community Band begins performing at 9am in front of the Sag Harbor Cinema on Main Street.  Parade begins at 9am at the War monument at Otter Pond, travels down Main Street to Bay Street.  Ceremonies follow at the flagpole at Marine Park and conclude on the front lawn of the American Legion Building on Bay Street.  Organized and presented by the Chelbert & Battle American Legion Post 388 of Sag Harbor, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9082 of Sag Harbor, and joined by many other community organizations.

North Haven Memorial Observances, beginning at 11:30am at North Haven Village Hall, on Ferry Road in North Haven.  The American Legion Firing Squad, led by Bruce Winchell, will be present, along with North Haven Village officials and a guest speaker.  Refreshments will be served after the ceremony, provided by the North Haven Village Improvement Society.  All are welcome.
