Our Mission

The Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce promotes local tourism, supports business, and sponsors many community events in Sag Harbor Village, Noyac, and North Haven.



Events & Activities

The Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce hosts and sponsors a number of events each year in order to bring attention and notariety to Sag Harbor, with the goal of bringing in visitors and shoppers.  Our events are well attended, and serve both residents and tourists alike.  Our events are designed to enourage participants to walk throughout the business district, and Members are urged to use these events as opportunities to showcase their shops and to bring visitors inside, by the use of creative window displays, as well as promotional sales, discounts, coupons, or any other means necessary.

Partnership Affiliations

The Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce is also affiliated with the Hamptons Visitors Council, a group of Chambers within Southampton Town which sponsors and advertises activities, events, and festivals across the East End, as well as the Long Island Convention and Visitors Bureau and Sports Commission, which promotes tourism for all of Long Island.



The Windmill

The Chamber operates a tourist information center at the Windmill on Long Wharf, which is open and staffed on weekends during the Spring and Fall, and seven days a week during the Summer (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend).  The staff only recommends Chamber Member businesses to the people who visit or inquire there for information.



Annual Dues

You get ALOT for your Annual Dues in the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce:

2008 Annual Dues Schedule

Basic Membership: $175
Includes Guide Listing, Web Listing, and Voting Rights

Additional Listings in Guide and on Website:  $25 each
Identical to your Primary Listing

Second Business (Must Have the Same Owner as a Primary Member):  $50 each
Listing may be different from your Primary Listing.  No additional voting rights.

Realtor Listing:  $50 each
Individual Realtors may have their own listing beneath the Primary Listing of their Agency

Display Ads
1/4, 1/2 and Full Page ads available.  Call 725-8243 for rates.

Dues may be paid by Cash, Check or by Visa/MasterCard
Display ads are only avalable when reserved with Credit Card


Meetings:

The Chamber holds regular membership meetings, which are often dinners at local member restaurants.  Aside from updating you on current Chamber activities, these meetings provide an excellent opportunity for networking with colleagues and making business contacts.  Anyone is welcome to attend our dinners, whether a Chamber Member or not. Members are encouraged to bring potential new members with them!  Our dinner meetings are monthly, with the exception of January, February, July and August.

The Chamber's Executive Committee meets separately at least once a month.  If you have questions or concerns, or you'd just like to see what the Chamber Board does for our Members, you are welcome to attend.
