Transportation

Choose from the Following Modes of Transportaion

Airports and Air Travel

If you are traveling to New York by plane, chances are you are flying into John F. Kennedy International Airport, just southeast of NYC, LaGuardia Airport in Queens, NY, or MacArthur Airport in Islip, Long Island.  Each of these airports has a very comprehensive website that provides maps, directions, transportation and car rental information.  Those travelling by private aircraft wishing to land at either the East Hampton or Montauk Airport should contact the respective airport directly for policies and fees.

Transportation to Sag Harbor from either JFK or LaGuardia Airport must be by car, bus, or train.  Transportation to Sag Harbor from either MacArthur Airport must be by car or bus.  Shuttle service is available from these airports to the nearest train station, and the privately operated Hampton Jitney bus service offers transfers from LaGuardia and MacArthur airports to its main line, which then travels non-stop to the Hamptons and Sag Harbor.
